Baby life is good...

Ava has been home since Friday the 18th. She is adapting pretty well. Mostly sleeping and farting. The cats are a little freaked out but totally get along with her. Right now Amanda is feeding her which they both enjoy and she will pretty much sleep the rest of the day. Shes getting cuter by the day but she still looks a little yellow, so we're getting her checked on Wed:)

Home sweet home...

Ava is home and we had a fairly good night last night. We don't mind visitiors so just let me know if you want to stop by:) Things are going pretty good. She is feeding well and starting to wake up more. We have fallen in love and now just working on what to do with this new person in the house. Being a parent is hard...mostly because of no sleep. See ya

Ava is healthy and lovin life

Everything is bueno except for no sleep for the parents:( We are having a good time entertaining lots of grandparens and visitors. If you would like to visit shoot us a text or call and we can figure out a time. So far Ava loves being held and I have so far performed two successful baby burrito wraps. Amanda is going to eat dinner and take a nap from 4:30-6:30 so after that we can have some visits.

more pics to come...

were working on milk and resting...more pics later. thank you for all your prayers...It went amazingly well!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT WAS AWESOME!!!

She is 7 pounds 10 ounces and 19 inches long and beautiful

10 cm !!!

no time to write! Baby is coming

5.5 CM...We're thinking touchdown by 10?

So Amanda is resting right now...Turns out Epidurals are amazing and having a small tube insterted into your back is way better than hours and hours of painful contractions. Amanda is asleep right now and the cervix?...well its enlarging. I think its the cervix...I could mean uterus..not sure. Anyway, last dialation check was 5.5 CM. The doctor said that the way things are going they expect maybe a CM an hour from here on out but that is just a guess. In the mean time I'm about to eat some Jimmy O's and hold Amandas hand while she sleeps. Keep us in your prayers...the hard part is still ahead.

Epideral? I dont know how to spell

Amanda got the tube and needle in the back, I almost passed out because i saw some blood on the doctors hands. She's feeling good now and going to get a little rest. I will have another dialation measurment in about an hour. Peace

4 cm and some pain medication

Doc came in a measured her at 3-4 cm...she said the baby has dropped into position and we just need more dialation...the picture is of the chart that shows how big she needs to get to give birth...we're at four, and we're going for 10!

Contractions are steady and heavy!

Amanda just got out of the tub...contractions are starting to really hurt and Amanda is about to ask for some pain meds...Doctors say the baby could come tonight or maybe even tomorrow...We will get another read on the dialation in about a half hour and have a better idea of when she will start pushing:)

Water Broke!

We are at the hospital! Amanda is 95% effaced and 2 cm dialated. We will keep updating through the day...and inform people when visiting is cool. Love you all!

Amanda is having contractions:)

Amanda started having regular contractions this morning around 6am or so...we are at home right now timing how long they are lasting and keeping track until they get regular enough to go to the hospital. Keep us in your prayers!
